There are Fabulous walks with the South West Coast Path running through Pickwell Barton, with breathtaking views of the countryside and the North Devon coast, why not take a stroll from the cottage down over the fields to the costal path around Baggy Point stopping off at the quaint and picturesque village of Croyde, North Devon, for a pub lunch at the famous ‘Thatch Barn' or a never to be forgotten Devonshire cream tea.

Barnstaple , our own capital of North Devon , boasts a Leisure Centre and Tarka Tennis; so on those wetter days you can try your hand at a game of tennis to Bowls or an indoor swim.
