The Cook Family North Devon Holidays
Pickwell Barton ... many of you will know that the Cook family have been farming here for 100 years! Andrew’s great granddad Fredrick, bought the farm back in August 1921.

We are very much a family run farm, with Andrew’s parents still very much involved, along with Annie our daughter who is currently teaching secondary PE in Oxfordshire, but comes home and helps on the farm when time allows. Peter our son who studied at Harper Adams University, is now working alongside Andrew on the farm.

Pickwell Barton is a traditional working farm, with 500 ewes that lamb in March. The crops that are grown are wheat, barley, oats, beans, and Swedes. We also have cattle that are out in the fields during the summer and come into the barns during the winter.

Andrew and Jane offer an understated luxury in the holiday cottage in a very peaceful, idyllic location on the North Devon Coast. They are always at hand should you require their assistance – but aim to give you all the peace and quiet you deserve for a relaxing holiday in this very special part of North Devon. We are Sorry that don't accept pets.
